²ÝÁñ¶ÌÊÓƵNational Indigenous Peoples Day
Indigenous Education and Community Engagement at ²ÝÁñ¶ÌÊÓƵis hosting their annual Indigenous Day celebration on Thursday, June 20. This year's theme is the celebration of Indigenous diversity. We welcome you to join us as we recognize and share the history, culture, and perspectives of Indigenous communities.

Keep the Fire Burning
Urban Ink hosts a celebration of National Indigenous Peoples Day and a fundraiser for future seasons at Hastings Racecourse. Keep the Fire Burning is a free event with musical performances, complimentary food, door prizes, and more.

National Indigenous Peoples Day at Ambleside Park
The District of West Vancouver commemorates this year’s National Indigenous Peoples Day with free activities at Ambleside Park. Attendees will experience Indigenous artists sharing traditional art forms with the community, live musical performances, and a salmon dinner.

National Indigenous Peoples Day Celebration Block Party
Carnegie Community Centre, in partnership with the City of Vancouver, hosts an Indigenous Peoples Day celebration. Attendees will enjoy cultural sharing performances, community organization tables, giveaways, and more. The event will also feature pop-up performances from J.B. The First Lady, Mannix, Haida Dance Group, and more throughout the day.

National Indigenous Peoples Day in Burnaby
The City of Burnaby is hosting a community celebration at Edmonds Park and Plaza in recognition of National Indigenous Peoples Day. The family-friendly event will feature Afro-Indigenous songwriter Sekawnee, a traditional Salish song and dance performance by Tsatsu Stalqayu, a multi-disciplinary performance by Spakwus Slolem West Coast, a First Nations mask performance by Git Hayetsk Dancers, and more. There will also be an Indigenous artisan market, games, bannock, and other activities for all ages.

Hotlatch: Indigenous Peoples Day
Celebrate National Indigenous Peoples Day in style with a warehouse dance party filled with some of the best queer Indigenous DJs, artists, and dancers for a warehouse dance party. DJs Kota, Zuleyyma, and Salish Siriano will be holding it down as the guests dance deep into the night at The Birdhouse.

National Indigenous Peoples Day at VIFF Centre
VIFF is celebrating National Indigenous Peoples Day by inviting acclaimed director Corey Payette (Les Filles du Roi) to curate four films. Head down to Vancity Theatre to see LFdR, Wildhood, Bones of Crows and Hey Viktor! Free admission for Indigenous-identifying persons.

Surrey’s National Indigenous Peoples Day Celebration & Wellness Event
The City of Surrey event is hosted by Semiahmoo, Kwantlen, and Katzie First Nations and includes cultural sharing through art, music, storytelling, and dance. The special event features cultural sharing through music, storytelling, dance, and more.
