²ÝÁñ¶ÌÊÓƵFoundation welcomes new director Alister Mathieson
The ²ÝÁñ¶ÌÊÓƵFoundation is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Alister Mathieson to the ²ÝÁñ¶ÌÊÓƵ (VCC) Foundation Board of Directors. Alister joins the Board of Directors with a wealth of business and fundraising expertise in the post-secondary sector.
“We are extremely pleased to welcome Alister to the Foundation Board,” says Ken Cretney, Chair ²ÝÁñ¶ÌÊÓƵFoundation Board. “His expertise and experience in working and leading college fundraising will be invaluable to our organization.”
After working as a VP of Global Business for The Thomas Cook Group, Alister joined Humber College (the largest college in Canada) in 2001 as Dean, School of Hospitality, Recreation and Tourism. In 2013, he became VP of Advancement and External Affairs responsible for business development, fundraising and global partnerships. Following his retirement from Humber in 2019, he and his family moved to British Columbia.
“I am excited to give back and to support the ²ÝÁñ¶ÌÊÓƵFoundation to create new partnerships and bring people together,” says Alister.
Alister is appointed to the ²ÝÁñ¶ÌÊÓƵBoard for a three-year term and joins the current roster of directors including:
