Vancouver, April 10, 2025 – Last night, ²ÝÁñ¶ÌÊÓƵ (VCC) fashion students showcased their latest work during a runway show at Vancouver Fashion Week.

Vancouver Fashion Week is North America’s second-largest fashion week, second only to New York Fashion Week. It spotlights homegrown talent as well as talent from across the globe.

VCC’s Fashion Design & Production Diploma students presented self-directed final garment projects, which gave students the opportunity to perfect their craft and express their sartorial interests.

“At Vancouver Fashion Week, we believe that including student designers on the runway is essential to shaping the future of fashion. By offering them direct access to industry mentorship, real-world production experience, and global exposure, we’re helping bridge the gap between education and career. Our collaborations with institutions like ²ÝÁñ¶ÌÊÓƵ allow students to gain not just visibility but also the confidence, creativity, and leadership skills needed to thrive in a competitive industry. It’s more than a showcase – it’s a launchpad,” Jia Seung, Vancouver Fashion Week Producer.

“We are so proud of our students' creativity and dedication to their craft,” said Sarah Murray, Fashion Program Coordinator at VCC. “After two years of hard work, showing at Vancouver Fashion Week is the pinnacle of our students' experience with ²ÝÁñ¶ÌÊÓƵFashion. The opportunity to be seen on the runway by media and industry is an amazing launch pad for our students' careers in fashion.”
